Occupational Therapist & Practice Owner

Hi I’m Megan and I’m the founding Occupational Therapist at Fields Occupational Therapy. I established the practice with a vision to offer occupational therapy that seamlessly integrates into a child’s daily life. I believe that true therapeutic progress happens not just in sessions, but in the everyday moments at home—where children and families live, grow, and connect.
“Fields” comes from my last name, Duffield, and also reflects what I believe every child deserves: space to grow, play, and thrive. At Fields Occupational Therapy, we support children in building the skills they need to blossom in the everyday “fields” of their life—at home, at school, and in the community.
With special interest in Early Intervention, I am committed to providing support to children as early as possible to set them up for success. I developed my passion for paediatric work early in my career and have experience in hospital & community practice, with children and families of a range of backgrounds.
I acknowledge the importance of collaborating with the ‘village’ of people that surround a child, including siblings and family, childcare educators, teachers, GPs and therapists.
I hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
